雪铁龙DS5是基于2005年的C-SportLounge而来的，在外观上与前两款DS车型有很好的延续性，但和DS3以及DS4相比，明显可以看出虽然DS5仍为两厢车，但线条更加修长，气质也相对成熟一些。

DS5的多边形头灯虽然都采用了圆角设计，但还是掩盖不住其犀利的眼神。从头灯上方延伸至A柱后的三角窗处的银色"怒眉"不仅使得DS5不怒自威，同时也体现了法国人天马行空的想象力。
